ESSEC Business School

Currently studying at ESSEC Business School in Cergy, France, graduating with a BBA in 2026. I ranked 41st out of 605 students and made the Dean's List. Alongside my studies I co-founded two ventures: The Pixel Paper and First Query, through ESSEC Ventures, the school's incubator. I also served as Senior Market Analyst in the ESSEC Club of Economics (ECE), covering the TMT sector with market research and sector reports

My dissertation looks at how social engagement metrics shape advertiser pricing strategies in digital media. Specifically, I explore how metrics like likes, shares, comments, and follower counts influence CPM and CPE pricing models, and whether advertisers actually pay a premium for high-engagement placements. The research draws on pricing theory, media economics, and campaign attribution data (ROAS, MER, CAC) to assess how engagement signals are weighed against reach when brands allocate budget.

IE University: Exchange Semester

In my third year I completed an exchange semester at IE University in Madrid, Spain (Sep-Dec 2024). I took courses in Entrepreneurship, Business Intelligence for Startups, Data Analytics, and Corporate Finance and Strategy, building on my practical startup experience with academic frameworks.

ESSEC Ventures & ESSEC Club of Economics

Through ESSEC Ventures I incubated both The Pixel Paper and First Query during my studies, applying classroom strategy directly to live businesses. In parallel, I joined the ESSEC Club of Economics as a Senior Market Analyst covering the TMT (Technology, Media & Telecom) sector, producing research and pitch presentations for an audience of students, faculty, and industry guests.

One pitch I'm particularly proud of: I covered Nvidia as an investment case in 2024, before its now well-documented stock run. The thesis was built around the scale of datacenter buildout I expected from the rise of AI and Nvidia's position at the centre of that infrastructure stack. The stock went on to become one of the most discussed in markets.

To stay sharp on these macro themes, I regularly use ESSEC's access to the Financial Times and The New York Times to follow developments in AI, semiconductors, and software, and then connect those stories back to what they mean for specific companies and sectors.
